What is eSIM? eSIM is an embedded electronic SIM card inside your device that allows you to activate mobile communication services on your phone or smart device without a physical SIM card. If your smartphone or eSIM-supported device meets the requirements, you can simply scan a QR code to download and activate the eSIM, enabling both voice and data services. - Q1: Which devices support eSIM?
A1:Please refer to the "Supported eSIM Devices" list. - Q2: As an existing customer, how do I apply for and activate eSIM?
A2:
Step 1. Bring your valid Hong Kong ID to a SUN Mobile store to apply for the replacement of your physical SIM card with an eSIM. Handling fees apply (please see https://www.sunmobile.com.hk/eng/customerservice/199.jhtml for details under "Replacement of SIM Card" fees).
Step 2. After successful application, you will receive an eSIM QR code to scan and download using your eSIM-capable device.

A4:After activation, your physical SIM card will be deactivated, and all mobile services will switch to the eSIM. - Q5: Can I use the same eSIM on multiple devices?
