To transfer your mobile number to a SUN Mobile monthly plan online, please ensure you meet the following requirements:

• Age: You must be 18 years old or above.
• Identity Document: You must hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID).
• Account Ownership: You must be the registered owner of the mobile number.
• Account Type: Confirm whether your current mobile number is on a monthly postpaid plan or a prepaid SIM card.
• Proof of Address: Provide a valid proof of Hong Kong address issued within the last 3 months.

I am currently on a monthly mobile plan. What should I look out for when transferring my number?+

If you are switching from another telecom operator's monthly plan, please pay attention to the following:

• Accurate Personal Info: Provide your registered English name and HKID number exactly as they appear on your Hong Kong Identity Card.
• Record Matching: The English name and HKID number submitted must match the registered owner's records with your current mobile network provider perfectly.
• Account Status: Your mobile number must remain active and in service during the entire number porting process.

Can I switch networks if I am not the registered owner of the mobile number?+

Yes, but you must resolve the account ownership. You can choose one of the following methods to transfer the number:

• Method 1 (Before Transfer): Apply for a Change of Ownership (Transfer of Ownership) with your current telecom provider first, then submit the MNP application to SUN Mobile once updated.
• Method 2 (After Transfer): Register with SUN Mobile online using the current owner's personal details. Once the new service is successfully activated, both you and the registered owner must visit a SUN Mobile store in person to process the Change of Ownership.

I am using a Prepaid SIM. What are the requirements?+

Proof of Ownership: You must upload a photo of your SIM Holder Certificate or the back of the SIM Card.



ICCID Number: Enter the full ICCID number (including letters) found on the back of your SIM.
