If your device is infected with malware after connecting un-secure network such as unsafe Wi-Fi, SUN Mobile’s SafetyNet will detect the threats and send you notification.
To protect your device and personal data stored you are strongly recommended to install anti-virus software to clean up the viruses and protect your device from further attacks.

  • SafetyNet (“the Service”) Terms and Conditions
    By using SafetyNet ("the Service"), you understand and agree to these terms and conditions.
    1. The Service is only applicable to customers who subscribed designated mobile service plans, including Secondary SIM Card Service.
    2. The Service is supported by designated mobile devices and designated operating systems. Please check to ensure compatibility of the Service with your mobile device.
    3. You can terminate the Service by giving us at least 30 days' prior notice by submit an application in our shop.
    4. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the Service (or any part thereof) and/or any features of the Service at any time without prior notice. You agree that we will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification or cessation of the Service and/or its features.

    We make no warranty that:
    (a) the Service will meet your requirements;
    (b) the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free;
    (c) the results or information that may be obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable; or
    (d) the quality of any services, information or other material obtained by you through the Service will meet your expectation.
    6. You expressly understand and agree that your use of the Service is at your sole risk, and the Service is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis and we expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We assume no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user communications or personalization settings or for any damage to your Mobile Equipment or loss of data that results from the download of any materials, data or information. You expressly relieve us from any and all liabilities arising from the access or use of the Service (or any part thereof).
    7. As a part of the Service feature, we may send you Short-Messaging Service (“SMS”) notifications. Not all devices support SMS and/or other services included in the Service Plan. You should check whether your device is able to receive SMS and support any services included in the Service Plan.
    8. The Service is also subject to the terms and conditions of the Mobile Service Agreement and the terms and conditions of any third-party suppliers as may be amended from time to time.

    1. What is SafetyNet?
    SafetyNet helps to protect your device from malicious attacks when connected via SUN Mobile’s network. You will be alerted to potential danger if attempting to access malicious or phishing content/websites with your device. SafetyNet will also send you an alert SMS if your device becomes infected with malware.
    2. How will I know if my device has been attacked?
    You might notice faster battery drain or malfunctions. Or you could start receiving unsolicited calls and messages. Your personal information could be stolen, or you may notice an increase in your mobile bill.     3. I received an alert SMS from SafetyNet, so installed an anti-virus application. But the anti-virus application has detected no virus. Why is this?
    Each antivirus software vendor will have differing lists of viruses on record and may use different data analysis technology to identify threats. In addition, software suppliers will differ in timing when updating intelligence on viruses, so analysis results may vary.
